The Republican Liberty Caucus is a political action organization dedicated to promoting the ideals of individual rights, limited government and free enterprise within the Republican Party by:
a. Promoting these ideals among Party officials and its various organizations;
b. Identifying and supporting candidates sympathetic with these ideals;
c. Promoting Charter and Caucus membership among Party registrants, officials, officeholders and voters.
The Republican Liberty Caucus has smaller units across the nation which work locally, both at the state and regional level. For example, the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida works to promote the above ideals within the Republican Party of Florida. The Republican Liberty Caucus of Northeast Florida is a regional charter that seeks to work within the Republican Party in Duval County, St. Johns County, Clay County, Nassau County, Baker County, Putnam County, and Flagler County. As part of our work within the Party, we recommend that our members join their county’s Republican Executive Committee, where they can better promote the ideals of liberty.
We work through the Republican Party as we believe that it is closest to matching the core values of liberty that our Founding Fathers believed in, as evidenced by the Statement of Principles released by the Republican Party of Duval County. You can see a comparison of these principles with those of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida by reading this article: The Republican Liberty Caucus in the Republican Party.
Please consider joining the Republican Liberty Caucus and your local Republican Executive Committee as we seek to restore the ideals of liberty to the Republican Party of Florida and the Republican National Committee.
