Below are the three areas which the RLCNF Marketing and Promotions team will cover.
Marketing: Using marketing, our team will make sure that both members and non-members know about the RLC and how they can get involved to promote various things which relate to the RLC platform. We would also like for members and non-members to know what they will be getting in return by working with the RLC. Using marketing our team will keep the focus on the RLC overall and the RLC’s interests and involvements. Eventually, we will need to do market research to find out what groups of people will be potential RLC members or allies, what their focus is, which of those needs the RLC meet or promote, etc. The RLC has a very specific platform that gives us a specific niche which our team will use to position the RLC to continue growth of the RLCNF and public notice of the RLCNF. Our team will promote the RLC through continued advertising, promotions, public relations and sales (of literature such as the tri-fold brochure or the lapel pins).
Promotion: Promotion keeps the RLC in the minds of both the current members and the public at large. We also try to stimulate interest in the RLC. Promotion involves ongoing advertising and publicity (mention in the press or appearance at events). The promotions team will have ongoing activities of advertising the RLC. This includes various types of literature as well as press releases to the media, creation of materials to hand out as well as building public relations.
Public Relations: Our team will also manage the Public Relations aspect of the RLC. Public relations will cover the ongoing activities to ensure the RLC has a strong public image. Public relations activities include helping the public to understand the RLC and the RLC platform. We will use the media, that is, newspapers, television, radio, magazines, websites, online bulletin boards, etc. This will be one of our primary activities.
