The Activism group focuses on employing effective activism strategies and techniques. We use tools that are known to work in influencing policy makers, public opinion and earning media representation for our organization.
It is not enough to be active, we must also be EFFECTIVE. Motivated members are encouraged to attend campaign and political training offered by the Leadership Institute and other organizations. We also can provide mentoring in the rudimentary techniques.
Part of objectives include organizing and participating in rallies, attending public events, coordinating letters to the editor, coordinating letters/emails/fax/phone calls to elected representatives, earning press coverage, and guerrilla marketing where appropriate.
We also want to contact and coordinate our activities with others groups for parallel objectives whenever possible. A great many good organizations are out there that we are excited to work with and have had successful events in the past.
Our plan is simple. Contact as many like minded groups as possible. Any venue is useful for furthering our message by networking to establish alliances and use grass roots activism to affect political change. Talk to everyone you know and be a representative of the Liberty Movement.
